Every capsule of Optibac Intimate Flora for Women combines three strains of bacteria that are uniquely designed for the support of the intimate flora. These high quality friendly bacterial, specifically the GR-1® and RC-14® combination have been researched and analysed in over 25 scientific studies, across 2,500 women over 35 years of research.  This research scientifically shows that these bacterial strains survive after being taken orally and reach the vagina alive.

Optibac For Women contains bacterial strains that are naturally present in the urinary and vaginal tract. Each capsule contains 2.5 billion live cultures, and these amounts are guaranteed until the expiry date.

Optibac For Women is suitable from age 4 onwards, including during pregnancy, breastfeeding and menopause.  It is suitable for vegans and contains no artificial colours, preservatives or flavours.

Optibac Intimate Flora For Women is also gluten free, dairy free, yeast free, soy free and GMO free.

Recommended Use:
Take 1 capsule per day with food. If would prefer (or if it is professionally directed), you can go up to 2 capsules a day. Do not take more than this
Optibac for Women be taken as an intensive course or on an ongoing regular basis basis. 
For those who are have issues with swallowing capsules, you can open and mix the contents of the capsules in with non-acidic cold drink/food.

Q: Is Optibac For Women suitable for vegans?
A: Yes, it’s suitable for both vegans and vegetarians, and is free from dairy, gluten, yeast, soy and GMOs.

Q: Can I take Optibac For Women while pregnant or breastfeeding?
A: Optibac confirm that this product is suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Please do speak with your doctor or midwife before taking it.

Q: What if I find capsules difficult to swallow?
A: You can simply open the capsule and mix the contents into cold, non-acidic food or drink.

Following the taxonomic updates advised by a global team of scientists and published in April 2020, which look more closely at the Lactobacillus genus, a reclassification has been proposed for the L. paracasei, L. rhamnosus and L. reuteri species. The active ingredients in For Women may therefore now also be referred to as Lacticaseibacillus paracasei F-19®, Limosilactobacillus reuteri RC-14® and Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus GR-1®.
