Recommended Usage
The powder from the sachet of Optibac For Babies & Children can be mixed with your child's food or drink (preferably breakfast or the first feed) – as long as it is cool and non-acidic.
One sachet per day is recommended, although children can have two sachets per day from 12 months onwards, if desired or professionally directed.
Breastfed babies: apply to clean finger or nipple to allow baby to suckle.
Optibac Babies and Children powder can also be added to formula milk or expressed breast milk once cooled to room temperature
Refrigeration is not necessary but we would certainly recommend storing it dry, cool and away from direct heat and sun light.

Q: Why should I choose Optibac Babies & Children over yoghurts and yoghurty drinks?
A: Yoghurt and yoghurty drinks tend to have fewer live bacteria cultures and often contain a lot of sugar to create their taste (sometimes as much sugar as soft drinks!) Depending on your child's diet, the added sugar from the yoghurt could be unhealthy and may even impede the live bacteria. They also tend to not be supported with the FOS and Vitamin D that you would find in Optibac Babies & Children!
Q: Is Optibac Babies & Children natural and suitable for vegetarians?
A: Yes. It’s 100% free from dairy, gluten, artificial flavours and colourings. It is also vegetarian, soy free and GMO free, and contains no preservatives. Better yet, there are no added sugars.

30 sachets in a pack.
Each sachet guarantees 3 billion organisms (guaranteed until end of expiry date) – specifically Bifidobacterium breve M-16V®, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001
Also contains Maltodextrin (natural source), Vitamin D3 (100iu, 2.5mcg or 50% NRV) and 0.5g Fructo-oligosaccharide fibres.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
Live cultures are not recommended for those with serious medical conditions. If you are taking any medications or have a serious medical condition, consult a doctor before use. Keep out of reach of children. Optibac supplements will not cause dependency and may be used on an ongoing basis.
